Biography
Russ Brooks is T4America’s Director of Smart Cities. He joined T4America in 2012 and initially served as T4’s Deputy Director for two years before directing the Urbanful project. Urbanful, a startup launched within Smart Growth America is an online marketplace, featuring small businesses making their products locally, with all profits going to support SGA’s work. Prior to joining T4America, Russ served as the National Director for CABT and was responsible for strategizing, planning, and implementing their state and national policy agenda as well as managing the organization’s field staff. He has worked on numerous local and national political and advocacy campaigns ranging from children’s health to education referendums to Congressional and Senate races.
