Divided by Design examines the racist roots of our current transportation system. But most importantly, it demonstrates how today’s policies and practices were shaped by this past, leading to racial disparities today. And then it explains how today’s leaders and transportation professionals, no matter their intent, will perpetuate and exacerbate the damage—without a fundamental change to our overall approach to transportation
