Multimodal spending data

America is a country of freedom and choice, but not when it comes to how we’ve invested in transportation. For more than half a century, we have invested hundreds of billions of dollars into building a sophisticated highway system that attempts to connect everyone to everything—but only by car. In most cases, we’ve done this to the exclusion of every other way of getting around, and the results are unmistakable. It’s time to invest in the rest.
We look forward to adding other elements of multimodal spending data to this hub in the future. Stay tuned on upcoming changes by joining our email list.

Our three principles

Despite $1.5 trillion of federal investment since 1991, traffic, emissions, and pedestrian deaths keep rising. It’s time to focus on what truly matters: a transportation system that safely and efficiently serves everyday people.
