Biography
Stephen is a Policy Associate for Transportation for America. He works on advocacy projects and helps to manage the membership program. Stephen has advocated for strong communities at all levels of government. He worked in legislative affairs for New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, led a textbook affordability campaign for Maryland PIRG, and researched affordable housing policy for Montgomery County, among other experiences. He graduated with his Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Maryland College Park, also his undergraduate alma mater. He was born and raised in Metuchen, New Jersey, and has an admittedly spiritual dedication to ensuring that people can live in safe, prosperous, inclusive, and equitable places.
