Details on funding types:

  • Enacted and considered: legislation to suballocate funds to local jurisdictions or authorizing local jurisdictions to raise new funds.
  • Sales tax: statewide sales or use tax with revenues suballocated to local jurisdictions or authorization for local option sales tax.
  • Gas Tax: statewide gas tax with revenues suballocated to local jurisdictions or authorization for local option gas tax.
  • Vehicle Fees: statewide vehicle fees with revenues suballocated to local jurisdictions or authorization for local option vehicle fees.
  • Property tax: Local property tax authorization. Includes authorization for special tax districts for financing transportation projects.
  • Bonding: statewide bond issue with proceeds suballocated to local jurisdictions or authorization for local-level bond issue.
  • Income Tax: statewide income tax with revenues suballocated to local jurisdictions or authorization for local option income tax.
