    Eventually we will have to choose between “solutions” that try to make sprawl work and admitting that sprawl cannot work. It is time to start thinking more critically. Many school districts forbid walking and/or biking to school. Why? There is a wild killer on the loose: the private auto. It is time to stop pretending we can keep feeding this beast. The planet is cooking, bikes are a distraction.
