I am glad to see so many Caucasions on mass transit. Where population density is sufficient the trains need to be utilized by all of OUR people of all races! Seattle and Washington State are a great example for the rest of the nation to follow. I am from Southeast USA and am envious of these services.

We have a pretty good public transportation system in the Philadelphia area, but nothing new for the past several decades. Perhaps this will inspire our local politicians to get more electrically operated transit into the region.

MPC, don't know from where I sit if you're a Seattleite, but King County is about 75% white, 13% Asian, and 6% African-American. I'd imagine that has a notable effect on the population seen in the pictures. Is that the point you were trying to make?
